Tessa's Story

Tessa is a student at Dunlap High School in treatment for osteosarcoma. She has received blood on many occasions due to low counts from chemotherapy. Her family always knew the importance of blood donation and the constant need. They didn’t realize how many cancer patients, including pediatric patients, rely on these donations until they were facing it firsthand.  It is an almost inevitable need because of chemotherapy depleting blood counts, putting patients at risk for life-threatening infections. Tessa would appreciate you donating for her and others who need life-saving blood products.
