How to Earn
To earn your Student Impact Award, you must:
Be a high school student within our service region

Enroll online by April 1 of your graduation year
|

Earn at least SIX CREDITS, using any combination of the activities below
|
Earn SIX CREDITS before graduation to earn your award!
DONATE BLOOD
Short on time but want to make a big difference? Donate blood to change someone’s world in less than an hour. Donations must be completed; deferrals (incomplete) donations will not count towards your award.

RECRUIT NEW OR LAPSED DONOR
Are you an influencer? This is for you. Grab your phone, invite your family, or ask your friends because you can make a difference. To qualify, your recruit must have not donated ever or for the last 2 years.

VOLUNTEER FOR DRIVE PLANNING
Are you a team player? Put your skills to a great cause and help a blood drive in your community succeed. Your voice matters. Eligible activities include: serving on a planning committee, sign up table, contacting donors, providing day of drive logistic support, etc.

AM I A COORDINATOR OR VOLUNTEER?
To earn recognition for coordinating a blood drive (worth 6 credits towards your award), requires a high level of dedication and leadership. ALL of the following statements must be true of drive coordinators:
- You worked directly with an ImpactLife team member to plan a blood drive from start to finish
- You worked independently (or with one other person) to organize the blood drive
- The blood drive would likely or definitely not have occurred without you

April 1: Deadline to submit enrollment form
ImpactLife accepts enrollment forms year-round, but if you submit your forms after April 1, your award is not guaranteed to arrive by your ceremony date.
May 1: Award packages arrive to home address
If you are expecting an award package and have not received it by May 1 of your graduation year, contact ImpactLife at your earliest convenience.
