(February 27, 2023 – Davenport, Iowa) – Donors who give blood this week at ImpactLife donor center locations will receive a voucher to redeem for their choice of a $20 electronic gift card or a green “Changing the World” T-shirt from ImpactLife. Following a series of winter storms in February that caused missed appointments and canceled blood drives, the ImpactLife donor scheduling team is working to increase appointments, recoup lost donations, and ensure the stability of our region’s blood supply.

ImpactLife has increased the value of electronic gift cards offered to donors who schedule appointments at any of ImpactLife’s 22 donor center locations through Sunday, March 5 (increased from $10 to $20 for whole blood donors). Donors may schedule by calling (800) 747-5401, online at www.bloodcenter.org, or via the ImpactLife mobile app (www.bloodcenter.org/app).
To thank donors, ImpactLife will provide a voucher to redeem for the donor’s choice of an electronic gift card or a green “Changing the World” T-shirt from ImpactLife. Current donor promotions include:
- Whole Blood donors giving at ImpactLife donor center locations: choice of $20 electronic gift card or Changing the World T-shirt (ends Sunday, March 5)
- First-time and second-time Whole Blood donors (all locations): choice of $25 electronic gift card or Changing the World T-shirt (through Sunday, March 19)
- Returning Whole Blood donors giving at ImpactLife mobile blood drives: choice of $10 electronic gift card or Changing the World T-shirt (through Sunday, March 19)
- Automated donation procedures (platelets, plasma, double red cell): choice of $25 electronic gift card or Changing the World T-shirt (through Sunday, March 19)
